About Me

Dr. Marcia Norman is a clinical psychologist specializing in individual adult, children, adolescent, couples and family therapy. Dr. Norman maintains a private practice in Winter Park.

Dr. Norman graduated magna cum laude from Rollins College with degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy. Dr. Norman also earned a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Norman has extensive experience treating people from all walks of life: she has provided counseling to all branches of the military; to women in domestic abuse shelters; to adolescents in the juvenile justice system; to adults being treated in an in-patient drug addiction facility; and also worked in a Baker Act receiving facility treating clients in severe Marcia Normancrisis. In addition, Dr. Norman spent several years managing a team of therapists working under a government grant providing therapy in all Osceola county schools, from K through 12th grade.

In addition, Dr. Norman is trained to work with adolescents and children as young as four years of age, using a combination of child-centered play therapy and parenting techniques. Dr. Norman has also completed level-one training in Marriage counseling with the acclaimed Gottman Institute.

Dr. Norman is a fully-licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida. Her license number is PY 7907.
